Tips for the Float

This is a leisure trip with no white water or dangerous rapids, but do dress accordingly. There is a good chance you will get wet. Wear old tennis shoes or water shoes rather than sandals or flip flops.
A restroom will be open for your use at roughly the half way point. Watch for signs along the right side of the river.
Don't get a sun burn! A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are highly recommended.
This is a rain or shine event. Bring a towel and extra clothes in case of rain or in case you tip or trip in the water. We recommend leaving your extra clothes in your car at the finish rather than carry them with you in your boat.
There will be no emergency exits, so please come prepared.
Remember to lock your cars while on the water, especially if you are leaving valuables in it.
Bring your own boat or arrange for your own rental. We do not supply boats. Don't forget your paddle! Rubber rafts and flat-bottom boats are welcomed.
Bring beverages and snacks for on the river.
No running water available, only the river and porta johns.
